Food for Kids

Food for Kids

Thank you for your continued support of Jessamine County public school children and and families.  Each Wednesday night, our youth assemble bags of food that are distributed by our schools to families in need of food assistance over the weekend. We are providing 70 bags of food each week to five of our local schools:

  • Wilmore Elementary
  • Jessamine Early Learning Village
  • Head Start
  • West Jessamine Middle
  • Providence School

Your contributions make a difference!

Place your donated food items in the basket beside the Welcome Center in the church foyer. A complete list of items we pack each week can be found at the basket.

Items Needed by Month:

  • January – Mac and Cheese Boxes
  • February – Condensed Soup – Tomato or Chicken Noodle
  • March – Oatmeal Packets
  • April – Pudding Cups
  • May – Peanuts or Peanut Butter Crackers
  • June – Vienna Sausages
  • July – Canned Pasta (such as Ravioli or Spaghetti & Meatballs)
  • August – Ramen Noodles
  • September – Vienna Sausages
  • October – Individual Applesauce Cups
  • November – Instant Oatmeal Packets
  • December – Hot Chocolate Packets
