Desert Life

The season of Lent – the Church’s time of preparation for Resurrection Day – has often been described as a desert…a time of solitude, longing, self-examination and lonliness. The Lord meets with us in special ways in life’s lonely times though, which makes them, though hard, good. Our Lenten series for 2026 takes a look at the desert life of Israel follwing their release from Egypt and the ways the Lord met and worked with them. If you’re feeling “deserty,” the Lord can work in your life too!
