Mark your calendars! Our WFMC annual missions emphasis week will be held September 20 – 27. Due to the travel and other restrictions because of the Corona virus, our week is adapted a bit.

Free Methodist missionaries Mike and Vickie Reynen have recently resettled in Indianapolis, IN after twenty years of service in Africa. From this home base, Mike will continue his role as Africa area director and Vickie will continue her work with International Child Care Ministries (ICCM) and women’s ministries. The Reynens have three grown children and one grandchild.

On Discomfort Andy Bowen Video
Asbury University graduate and WFMC member Andy Bowen and his wife, Lizet, have served with World Gospel Mission in Paraguay for over twenty years. They teach the indigenous language, Guarani, to new missionaries and help prepare them for service, while also discipling Paraguayan believers. They also serve as team leaders of WGM Paraguay. The Bowens have three sons, Lucas, Timothy, and Joseph, who have enjoyed WFMC youth and children’s activities during their furlough year in Wilmore.

Asbury Seminary graduate and trustee, Dr. Ricardo Gómez is the Free Methodist Area Director for Latin America. Previously, he served as a part-time professor at the Biblical Seminary of Colombia, coordinated the pastoral education for the Latin America area, and planted a church in Santiago, Chile. Nicholasville native and WFMC member, Beth Gómez assists him and coordinates communication efforts throughout the region. Ricardo, Beth, and their children, Juliana and Jonathan, have lived in Medellin, Colombia for almost 7 years. They have served as Free Methodist missionaries for fourteen years.
