Hazardous Weather
As you know, sometimes changes have to be made in the church events schedule due to inclement weather. WFMC’s process for schedule changes is, in brief:
If roads and parking lots cannot be navigated in a safe manner, we will typically cancel or delay events.
Cancellations or delays will be announced at least one hour prior to the event time.
If public school is canceled due to snow or ice on a given day, then the church office will be closed until noon of that same day, to give opportunity for the lots and walks to be cleared.
Schedule changes for church events due to hazardous weather will be communicated:
- Through the WFMC PNN (Prayer Notes and News)
- On the news feed of the church website (front page)
