Current Operations Due to Covid-19 Virus:
Except for worship (beginning June 14) all campus events involving more than ten persons are cancelled until permitted to re-start. The church office, library and sanctuary (to be used only for personal prayer) are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
On-line and In-person Worship and Gatherings
Online Worship: During this time of social distancing, we have begun corporate worship online via pre-recorded YouTube services. Each Sunday’s service is made available by 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Click here for the WFMC YouTube Channel. Services can also be found on the WIlmore FMC Facebook page and audio-only and podcast versions can be found on the WFMC Truthcasting Channel.
In-Person Worship: Beginning on June 14, we will once again offer an in-person worship service! Click here for all the details.
Fellowship and Education: Most of our Adult Bible Fellowship and Youth Bible Fellowship groups are meeting via Zoom video. Contact your ABF leader or the church office if you’d like to join an ABF that is meeting via Zoom, or click here for the complete list and links.
Giving can be done via mail, drop off at the church office, or online. Online directions are found here.
Information and Ministries
Pastor Daryl and the church office are sending e-mails regularly via the already established e-chain which include announcements, prayer requests and program information. If you would like to be included, simply phone or e-mail the church office ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) and type “E-Chain” in your subject line.
Many volunteers are willing to assist those who need important errands run – groceries, medicine, etc. Contact the church office by phone or e-mail and we will arrange for your need to be met.
Please send your prayer requests or reports of answered prayer to the church office for distribution to the church family (or if they are confidential, to the pastors.)
Our Back-pack snacks ministry is still active, supplying dozens of meals to school children each week.
Our Benevolence and Families at Risk ministries is helping those with short-term financial needs.
Pastoral Care groups have been expanded are contacting sub-groups every 7-10 days to catch up and collect prayer requests and needs for distribution.
