Christmas Children’s Outreach, 2020

Three Ways to Give Children Overseas a Merry Christmas in 2020:

1)   Operation Christmas Child sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse, the due date for your box is Sunday, November 15 (6 weeks!) Please consider becoming involved in this worthwhile ministry. Did you know the shoebox gifts collected in 2019 were distributed to 118 countries and territories, including 27 hard-to-reach countries not named for security reasons. Many of you helped lead children to Jesus by packing a simple shoebox. Let’s do it again!

2)   Bulgaria Christmas Gift Box: Free Methodist Bulgarians use our funds to tailor gifts to the age and need of orphans, street, and other needy kids, being careful to keep all gifts similar and useful to the context. With no shipping costs or import taxes, local businesses are supported in these extra-needy times.

3)    International Child Care Ministries ICCM is an organization within the Free Methodist Church who dreams of a world where every child is loved, safe and developing their God-given potential, and who realizes that hunger robs children of their potential. With the “Extend Your Table” special project, F.M. churches supplement the food needs of children around the world. Through this program the average cost for 100 meals is $45.00, or only 45 cents a meal. Our gifts this season will bring a blessing to our churches and children around the world.

Pick an ornament, or a box, from the tree in the church foyer with instructions on how to give in these ways – or contact the church office for information on how to give, and be a blessing to a child in need this Christmas.
